...if I could harvest a Ringer this nice, I'd have him in my collection...swimming pose on this rascal.
Overheard at my last convention: "If you wanna make a million bucks in taxidermy, start out with 2 million and in 5 years, if you're lucky, you'll have a million left."

Matt do you wrap your bodies ?? Some are wrapped, but most are altered from foam. That's a good question on this bird though, because on a swimming pose the breast bone is not as pronounced and the side pockets are pushed up by the "water" that the bird is sitting on. Which brings you to the opposite effect of a laying bird. You will commonly see those propped up on the breast bone and sitting "high centered" as opposed to conforming their body and feathers to the wood, rock or land that they are laying on...in Avian Artistry it's known as having the bird committed to the terra firma; a settled in type of effect.

Very cool Matt! I have a bit of a dilema... I have a ringer pair in my freezer. I also have a nice mallard drake in my freezer. My problem is, I dont know which I should bring you first!!! Maybe I will bring them all in when I pick up my merganser and you can help me decide! I have a feeling I will be leaving them all with you! I am gonna be broke!!!!

Remember, you still get the THF Discount on each bird! I flipped a coin for ya' to decide if you should bring them all in...who da thunk it...it came up heads to bring them all. ( I love Banana2 by the way)

I shot my 1st ringer this year with one shot I shot a drake and hen. He looked as good as that one and now I am wishing I had taken him to Eric.
