I've been holdin on to this one for a while. It was after the opener this year and I took my son, 10, and my father in law with me, which means we weren't the early birds. We had to settle for plan C on a public lake and I ended up with a limit of spoonies and teal. After the hunt I was cleaning the ducks. I always open them up to get to the gizzard - best big blue cat bait there is IMO. My father in law grabbed the heart out of a GWT and ATE IT! He's a crazy arsed cajun and prides himself in eating anything. I got the camera and dared him to do it again. Well, I got it on video.    The kicker is that he went inside the house and gave his wife a big kiss afterward - then told her about it.  I'm thinking he's a sure in for Spoon Platoon honorary member...
