Dogcatcher called me last week and wanted to give me one of his handmade deer grunt calls for using when Jay comes to hunt this weekend. I have been swamped at work and was finally able to get by his home yesterday. Let me say that these are the most beautiful and perfect sounding grunt calls that I have ever tried. I can't wait to try it out with Jay this weekend!!

He also gave me an absolute perfect sounding varmit call. It too is beautiful and the perfect size that I love to use when calling up those pesky coyotes.

Let me say that if you want to give someone the perfect Christmas present, you need to get in touch with him and buy that special someone one of his calls!!

Thanks my friend!!! It was great to put a face with a name on here.

Sounds like a little field testing is order, after deer season, maybe even a little competition?

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I even have those fancy electronic calls and such. Dogcatcher had asked me if I could take him out to something like that if it got put together. It wouild all depend on my tournament fishing calendar and if it conflicted with a date set up. I fish the FLW divisions and even run a team tournament trail circuit out here in West Texas. The wife fishes on the women's pro circuit too. :)

Team Hillbilly, sounds like we may have to exercise our rights to some special weapons I suggest a Browning M2 accurate? but real effective.

And to The Hag thanks for the compliments.

Well if were going to get out the real stuff, I'll take the M79 and/or a M203, the yotes can't get far againt that. I don't think Mikes going the like that much fire power out there at his place, but you can't never tell. He used the real stuff, like 155's, What do you think Mike?

Hope everyone knows we are just joking around, don't need any internet police coming around.

On any thing less than 50 lbs i stick with the 105mm, ya get less pelt damage.

Yep,,, fished co side of the Stren last year to just get to fish somemroe than just the pro side of the TTT. Not enough time to prefish and take off a whole week for the pro side of the Stren. Fishing the TTT again, but not the Stren. This is Mrs Hag year, as I entered her in the WBPT as a co-angler. My turn to be there for her, like she has been for me.

I think my ol' trusty 7mm with 180 grain Noslers should do the trick on a yote.

Hag I've fished the Pro side of Stren/Everstart since it started, yep I missed a few but what can I say. I've also fished some on the TTT mostly the last few years. I spent almost 6 years fishing the BASSMASTER circuit as well. Shoot me an PM, maybe we could get together and fish a day or two, I still live on Sam Rayburn and only about 30 mintues from Toledo Bend, if I can be of any help let me know. Tell the wife good luck with the WBPT she should have fun. Guess I'm still thinking about next year, but I'm going to have to make-up my mind sooner than later.

Your'e welcome Jay, hope you get the big one this time, just be sure The Hag doesn't keep it, he liked it quite a bit. He had to test 3 or 4 before he picked the one for you.
