While spot and stalking, I ran up on 2 deer this year. A nice sized doe, and a spike. I din't shoot them because they were on my neighbors fence line, so not on my property. I have a stand set up next to this property line at about 100-150 yds away. However, it is invisible due to tree growth. I set a blind up with a shooting lane, but I spooked the deer every morning I came in, because it was too close to their bedding area. The stand will be much better. My question is, if I clear out a good shooting lane, put a good feeder on my side, will those deer jump fence and come over to my property. My neighbor would never know or care that I shot on his side, but I would never do that due to respect and law, so I want to do it right, and get those deer onto my side. They travel back and forth, but I only saw fresh tracks on my side all season long and never the deer.

Well, what I mean by that, sir, is... if you was to put me and this here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile of Adolf Hitler with a clear line of sight, sir... pack your bags, fellas, war's over. Amen.--SPR[image]

Yes. Deer don't care a whole lot about fences.
Shoot. Eat. Repeat.

Deer go through fences like they don't exist. So the fence is not your problem.

You might try setting up a feeder and game cam to pattern them also try walking the fence line looking for tracks and hair on the fence.

Yeah, there are plenty of rubs on the fence line. Like I said, I had stopped to rest on a log, and that spke come right up to the fence line and just watched me. I was quartered to him, so didn't have time to shoot. That place has acorns galore all over. I think I'll set up a game cam and try to get some idea of what's out there.

you'd do a lot better here in east texas planting a food plot or hunting acorns. Good deer do not come to feeders in east texas except to get some tail during the rut.
