I can't say one way or the other on the exact scope you are asking about, but I have a BSA 3-10X44 CATSEYE on a 6.8spc. Only have about 100 rounds thru it with this scope, but have had good luck with it. If you have a flat top with the front post sight, you will need to raise the scope. It may appear to do O.K. in-house or on the range, but in the field the front post does show up as a shadow from the top. I know most people on here don't like BSA scopes, but they seem to be like other things in life, sometimes you get a good one and sometimes you don't.

Friend, I wouldn't harm thee for all the world, but thou art standing where I am about to shoot.

If you're looking for a good low end scope, Simmons is a MUCH better choice. BSAs in my book are a No-No!!

Yep, not a good scope in my experience. Go with Simmons like someone said before.

I would recommend the Tasco Target/Varmit scope for $90.00.

I bought one BSA scope, and I will NEVER buy one again. Light transmission is terrible. Tasco is only good if you keep it on a light-recoil gun. I had a Tasco on my 30-06 and after about 200 rounds it was crap. Wouldn't hold a zero for nothing. The cheaper weaver scopes are the same. The $200 Leupold Rifleman scopes at Wal Mart are a great value, and Bushnell makes quality scopes in their 3200 Elite series. But if you don't do a lot of shooting, and don't really demand a lot of quality from a scope, then go with the Simmons. They are decent scopes for the money.

Scopes are like furniture, you get what you pay for.

Tasco has two lines, World Class are OK, others are crapola...

Rifleman not much better than upper tasco,,,

Simmons are a lot like Gene Simmons, a joke...

BSA upper end are better than all mentioned here...

For the 200 I'd go Burris.......

YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOUT JOHHNIE! lol. I didn't think about the Burris, I don't like the small ocular lense. I'm pretty particular about scopes, but I didn't want to get on this thread and sound like an elitest. I bought a Zeiss a couple years ago and at 400 bucks it is an incredible scope. I use a Bushnell 3200 10x Mil Dot on my 17 HMR and it was 240 I think, but it is only a 10x. It works great on my 17 though. I plan to get a Leupold VX3 customized for my 30-06 with a Mil Dot on it. I've grown pretty acustomed to using a Mil Dot and now I want one on every scope that I buy!

Buying a scope is a personal preference. If you shoot under low light conditions a lot, such as a spotlight or moonlight for hogs, spend the money to get a quality scope, like the Burris or Bushnell 3200s or Leupolds. At $400, I think the Zeiss Conquest 3x9 is the best quality you can find. If you don't see it for 400, go to Cabelas or some place like that. The 3x9 is 400, but the next one up, I think the 4x12, is 560. They just have their 3x9 at 400 because it is so popular.
