Looking for a deer/ hog and/ or exotic hunting lease for this fall for my 5yr old son and myself to join a good bunch of Texas hunters. We like to socialize w/ others and aren't always out for a kill. A few does/ hogs and/or exotics a year is fine w/ us.
I'd like to find an annual lease around 4-4.5hrs from west Houston located in central or south Texas.
A bunkhouse for weekend/ overnight stays would be a plus.
I'm not a drinker or smoker.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Bob D.

Still lookin' and need to update this a little.
There are 2 of us now wanting a lease in the Hill Country/ Central or South Texas. We are both managed minded and we've been (waterfowl and deer) hunting together for a few years. We both have a kid or 2 that is into hunting. We need a lease that allows us to continue teaching them the ropes.
Anyone have any spots that 2 non-drinking/smoking that enjoy the outdoors? We'd like something preferrably w/ a bunkhouse.

I don't have a yearly lease but I do have a day lease in Val Verde County. Check out website longbowranch.com. Very affordable prices. Great place to hunt and learn. Sorry, no lodging for now.
Apache 64 (Longbow) You can run, but you will only die tired!!!

Sorry Apache64, wanting a yearly lease for now. If one don't pan out will keep ya in mind though.
Still lookin' guys. Anyone have 2 open spots on their lease? We really need a lease for our kids sake. They love to hunt and we love to teach them as much as we can about it. Just need a lease to continue the teaching.

Ok guys. I need to update again. We are willing to drive to Sonora at most and wouldn't mind something in Cotulla or in/ around the Golden Triangle.
So, we're up for a 6hr or so drive from here.
We will definately need a bunkhouse to stay and wouldn't mind having access to a garage to store ATV and/ or UTV. So, we'll need a ranch that allows them for use or have good roads for personal trucks to use. We prefer to keep our trucks from off-roading if possible. Reason for the ATV/ UTV's.
The lease must also allow kids and a guest or so would be a bonus.
The kills are ok to be from our tag alotment also (not really a big deal if there are exotics or hogs).
Prefer some MLD tags for does if possible and some exotics and hogs. We enjoy hunting year-round and having exotics and/ or hogs is a bonus.
Anyone know of any lease that fits our need/ wants please let me know via PM please. Thanks!!

Another update....Sorry. We checked out a couple leases in Del Rio and decided that is too far (715 miles round trip) for numerous weekend hunts throughout the summer and during deer season. Especially w/ the kids (3 boys between the 2 of us, but usually only 2 boys that hunt). Would like to find one that is within 4hrs or so from here. That would put us in Kerrville, Bandera, Cotulla and anywhere within 1hr or so from San Antonio. We're still needing a lease w/ a bunkhouse and prefer hogs and/ exotics. Any info ya'll can give will be appreciated by all of us. I subscribed to lease hunter, but nothing we're interested in yet. Thanks!

Found one on lease hunter. Thanks to all for your help and endless possibilities. I'm sure we (my son and I) will be lookin' for an exotic hunt after the first of the year again. There aren't any exotics on the lease and very few hogs. See ya around!
