The Redfield scopes are back!!!
Leupold has bought them and has started production in their Oregon facility. Yes the same facility that they make their Leupold scopes. They stated in GA that they are going to be focusing on the American hunters. Their intentions is to make a rugged and great quality scope for the American hunter that IS made right here in the good 'ol USA.
I guess I'm excited to see what they are goin' to be like. I knew my dad's 'ol Redfield lasted him over 35yrs before he had to change it out. I know how abusive he was w/ his things and was VERY surprised it lasted that long.
They are going to make 2-7x33mm, 3-9x40mm, 3-9x50mm and a 4-12x40mm scopes out of the Oregon plant. The starting price is suppose to be around $130 and up to around $200.
I'm ready to give them a try!! Are you?
