no, though I do have a "tactical" 1100 with an 8rd tube and 18.5" barrel..
how close are you to them? I wouldn't use buckshot past about 25 yards good slugs would be better
I use a 6.8 AR, faster followups, extremely accurate and can reach out further

They make "Hog Shot" now for shotguns, but I have never tried them out. And yes a Tactical shotgun would drop a hog depending on range.

After shooting numerous kinds of buckshot, so far the best and tightest pattern was Federal tactical buckshot

Load # RW12HD & RW1235VT are good pig killers and will rip a coyote into pieces. The only down side is the cost; nearly $4 per shot.

she said ,why does that ammo have pretty green tips on it? the guy said its the eco-friendy ammo.

So has anyone ever used the KO knockout slugs? Ive shot them pretty accurately with a standard shotgun barrel but never with the 18 incher. I wonder what the effective range would be to take a hog.

I have killed a pile of pigs with Federal 20 ga #3 buckshot. Out to 30 yards I'd take a 12 ga with 00 over any weapon that I could legally get my hands on. Just like shooting big slow birds...
