power inverter for truck

what is the best way to rig a power iverter for my truck.I'll need to run 120volt/ 1000watt E-Z pull. Should it be wired to the battery?

YES, by all means.. Allways wire inverters to the battery.

What is an "EZ pull"?
1000w/12v= 84 amps
Wow that is a load for auto with approx +-50amps reserve at rate speed!! Good luck.
Always fuse the positive side as close to battery as you can. 8ga to 10ga copper short run?

Sounds like you should be fine even at max. I would Check your inverter and make sure it is approved for inductive loads.
