I am trying to get a few leases going in the Trans-Pecos area. I spoke to a friend of mine and he has one property, and possibly aquiring 2 more, for leasing. I see this deal coming through by March or April. We have not tallked prices, but I don't assume it will be less then 2,000 per gun, from the way he talked in our initial conversation. The properties are rather large in this area, with mule deer on most of them, thus higher lease pricing. I have a friend from east Tx that has already spoken for 5 spots. How many more we will need??? Not sure. The one ranch he has now is 46 sections, 5 hunters doesn't even put a dent in that one. Anyhow if you think your interested, and may want in, let me know. Don't PM me, lets start a list on here and we will go from there. I am sure the properties can be shown, when and if it comes time for that. Like I said, I can't/won't promise anything, but all I can do is try. If the deals fall through, I will let everyone know, or if he leases to others ect. I am not in this to make any money, just helping him and a few friends out. BTW, not looking to sub lease and run hunts on these properties. Thanks, Roy

Quick question, are there any quail? If so can we also quail hunt? If yes, I'm interested.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

The ranch is about 30 miles SE of Ft Stockton(46 section ranch). The other 2 ranches he is looking at are in the vicinity of Ft Stockton, but may be towards Marathon Tx. I am not sure which way they are from Stockton, but all possibly south.

game available- are mule deer, whitetail, turkey, javelinas, quail, dove, varmints ect. On some of the properties, towards Marathon there may be some feral hogs. The leases may or may not include all game. Some may be wt and mulie only ect. Not sure if he will make it year round or seasonal only either. It is up to him how he will run the leases ect. Bull elk also roam these ranches as well as some other exotics, like I said I am not sure how he will work this in, or if he will. As soon as I find out what he wants to do and how many I will let everyone know. The more animals on the list the higher the price of course. Most of the leases allowing for wt and mule deer are running in the 3,000 price range, in this area.
