I got 2 does but it was a sorry season all in all. Kinda disapointed in the new lease.

Hey, I only wanted to hear from those who got skunked!!! LOL

I got a doe opening weekend of archery season, the rest of the season I never saw a thing while I was in my stand.
So, I didn't get skunked, but it was darn close to it!

Took 1 doe this year, thats it. Sure had high hopes when the season started with all the deer we passed last year. It's time to find a place with less presure.

I had a perfect season. Zero hits and zero misses.

I saw a few does and perhaps a spike or two that I could have taken. But what was most disappointing was that I never saw a buck with a spread that met the 13-inch minimum. Still, a guy took the best buck ever taken on one of the tracts that I hunt in East Texas. And several other very good bucks were taken in the area.

I too had very high hopes for this year after seeing so many last season that showed great potential. In fact, I passed up several bucks last season that easily met the minimum spread. Who knows, maybe the neighbors didn't make the same decision.

Yeh I saw several does one morning but none of them gave me any kind of a clear shot. The only deer that I could have shot all season was one tiny doe that came to my feeder a couple of days. I LOVE venison and I know it woulda been tender but I mean this thing was little, so I chose not to shoot it. I saw 2 bucks that I could have taken but they would not have passed the ARs (insert AR insult here).

The big goose egg for me.... Will be doing some adjustments to stand and feeder for hogs. Hope to have better luck

Piss poor economy has put me out for the last 2 years.

I got a axis day before rifle season and thats it! I passed on does at the beginning of season hoping the buck I saw in bow season would come back out but nothin! I didnt go this weekend and guess what my uncle saw walk past my tripod friday mornin!

Add me to the list as well. I hunted more than anybody else I know and saw three bucks all year- a 6 a 4 and a 3 legged spike.

Add me to the list...new lease and i think the live in neighbor took care of all my bucks. i had seen 4 different HUGE bucks from july to late sept. while i was pig, dove, and varmit hunting. season came and a few rubs and scrapes popped up and nothing but does on the cameras and no more signs of deer. not to mention i caught the guy mowing a trail about 175yds across the property line onto my side...some people! better luck next year.

got skunked at my lease as far as deer go but got plenty pigs.

i did get several deer at buddies ranches though.

Zero for Zero. I didnt even see a deer during shooting light. My wife claimed to. I did see tons of deer on the cameras between 10pm and 4am. Including two very nice bucks.

Hunted new lease in East Texas ended up with too does and five hogs back in Nov. But nothing but picks of night time bucks, gonna try one more time during black powder season. At least we got to eat some smoked deer sausage and blacked peas New Years day at deer camp.

Public land with nearly no scouting during warm weather after the rut. At least I got some outdoor time. :-)

Skunked here but I usually get skunked, I've only fired 4 shot's in the last 15 years.

I got skunked last year but made up for it this year.

Big 0 for me too!!! No shooters. AR sucks!!! I shot at a big buck near Coleman. Too far and a barbed wired fence got in the way!!!

Zero for me to . Trail cams were loaded with deer and when the season opened they were pretty much gone , I did see an ok 8 point and several does early .
I can say I hunted alot and spent alot of hours in the stand and I was able to hunt with my son for the first time in 5 years so I am ok with it .

P.S. I am looking for a doe hunt this week , anyone know of any ?
