What are some of the best hog baits to use, hunting and trapping? Besides just corn!

Pig-out usually works well, most of the time i just use corn. i have a buddy that takes corn, eggs, grapes, strawberrys and a six pack of beer and mixes then lets sit for a few days. He does pretty good with that but it always sounded like too much work. Plus a waste of good beer

I used pig out one day at my lease where we have never seen hogs before. I poured it out at the feeder at about noon, and when I went and sat in the stand that afternoon I saw a 350+ pound hog never seen a hog this big. He went straight to the pig-out when I shot it missed high lol half was gun other half was me shaking. But pig out for sure cause now we have them like crazy wherever I put it.
You can buy this anywhere I buy mine from Tractor Supply for about 5 bucks and its a huge jug you get of it. And remember it's name is Pig Out.
PS: If you get this it is a molasses mixture with fruits and stuff. So you can mix it with corn and let it soak for a week then they will be all over it. And dont forget it will also bring deer in to.

DIESEL WILL KILL ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES HOGS THAT EAT IT!!! Be warned I have heard many stories and know people who have had big bucks killed by diesel and they WILL munch on it. And if you figure in how much corn and whatever other product you mix with it in it will usually come out to be the same price as the good wild hog feed like Pig-out hog wild and other stuff like that.

Lol I didn't use Diesel. But yea it did kill some nice deer out at my friends place. That and some birds. But he didn't put it in his traps and the people I have heard from they usually hunted at feeders and put all that in those feeders.

Where I hunted the only thing that ate the corn was hogs, I guess the deer had a good food source else where or the hogs ran them off all the time.

diesel is alot cheaper than the commercial products because a little goes along way. you dont soak the corn in it, you just add enough to get all the corn wet. its all i use in my traps and never had problems with deer eating it, but then again i put barb wire in the entrance of my traps. keeps the coons, deer and other varmints from eating it for awhile.

one fifty(or forty)pound bag of corn soaked in water for two weeks and then pour several piles out with about ten boxes of walmart brand jello,i use strawberry, spread on corn..One important thing is to try to be as scent free as possible..use gloves and rubber boots..good luck!

We put corn out and then sprinkle vanilla extract on and then strawberry jello works and smells great.
