Thinking about getting back into coon hunting and thought I would see if anybody is close by.

Good luck brother. You're in much more prime area for it, but since I got stationed in Texas it has been hard going for coon hunting. It is truly dieing around here. Sad, but people just don't run hounds anymore due the lack of places to run them.

Theres a guy named Joe that lives in merit off of 903 that does alot of coon hunting. Cant help you out much more than that.

There are not many of us left. I coon hunt in Palo Pinto County.

Thanks. 30 years ago I coon hunted all over Merit (thats where I grew up) now so many folks have moved in I would almost be afraid to drop a dog out around there you, it or both of ya could get shot.
