I video taped this deer, sorry about the video quality, mid December. I think it is an arrow but am not sure, what do you guys think?

Thanks, I just couldn't tell. He never got very close, so it was hard for me to be sure. He will make good sausage come spike and doe season then.

Makes it look like he skipped the brow tines and went straight to G2's! Cool video though!

Well, what I mean by that, sir, is... if you was to put me and this here sniper rifle anywhere up to and including one mile of Adolf Hitler with a clear line of sight, sir... pack your bags, fellas, war's over. Amen.--SPR[image]

Maybe Im old and blind, but it sure looks like a broadhead on the right side. I say arrow.

I would let that thing go for a year or two. No telling what he might turn out to look like. Would be neat to see.

If you let it go, and that's an arrow, and it's a buck....next year you'll have a double-main-beam buck! laugh

Definitely antlers. As far as taking him this year you need to answer two questions. Do you need to take additional bucks during the spike and doe season and if so how does he compare to his peers?

If it is a arrow then it must be a cross bow the shaft would be way to small otherwise.

If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

Helps if you watch the entire video. Its antlers.

It's what we call a "droptine spike" on our place. Afraid you'll find that as he get's older he won't grow any vertical rack. Do whatever you feel, but I've culled these out of our population.

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.
