Love my Honda's! 2002 Foreman 450 4x4 ES & 2004 Rincon 650. Both excellent machines, but the ES (electric shift) did have some issues in water. Got that fixed and no more problems
Sometimes I wonder if it will get to the point you bring an attorney with you out hunting.

I have a 2003 Grizzly 660 that has been a working monster. Lots of power and fun to ride. I put a set of 27s on it for the mud. My wife has a Honda Rancher that is lighter, smaller frame wise but a real hard working machine. Either depending on your horsepower needs would be a great choice.

Looks like you have a lot of votes for Hondas. I have a friend that owns one and he loves it, never had any problems.
I also have a friend that has a Grizzly. The thing I like about the Grizz is the low end power. He has had some axle problems though. Broke one and had bearing issues on others.
I have a King Quad. I really like it. It has a lot of top end but in low it still goes through tough terrain with ease. It has fuel injection which is good but it is hard to start at times. No choke to help on those cold days. I've never had any problems with it though and am very happy with it.

Just to update. I like to give the pros of what I know, and let the cons of others be left to others. ANY brand can have problems. My 450 Foreman has electric shift and like it, and have NEVER had a problem with it, but some have. That's why I would not get elec. shift again. But I have often heard of problems with several of the other brands listed, and hardly ever with a Honda. The numbers are here, and even a higher percentage than I thought. We took our 250 sport (2x4) and Foreman to Colo. Went to 13,100 ft. with no jetting and never missed a beat. Less power being carb, but know others with carbs in other brands that couldn't go. Good luck, and I second the fuel injection issue just the same.

I no you said ATV but don't be scared of a Polaris Ranger. In my opinion much more versatalthan a four wheeler. Can carry 1000 pounds of corn and up to 3 people.

My opinion. I would not get a Polaris or Can Am. I have a Grizzly & stop in to drool over new toys they get. They say the Can Am's come in ALL the time for different things. I never had a Polaris that I cared for in looks, performance or dependability. They may have changed but I'll never go back to them. I grew up on Hondas & Kawasaki's & Husqvarna. The new Honda's seem weak. The Brute Force is pretty good but overpriced. I just bought my daughter a Grizzly 80 for X-mas. I have NEVER had 1 problem out of my Grizzly & I feel, after ALOT of research, it was the best bang for he buck. It came w/items that the others either wanted more to get them on it or were not able to be put on. Get the biggest cc you can because it will help big time when it comes to resale. Good luck.

I have had nothing but Polaris for 15 years. I have had my 500 sportsman since 99 and the 700 for 4 years. Im hard on them and they work all the time. I have had no problems and cant complain. I have been told a million times they are pieces of [censored], but they just keep on running. They go everywhere I want to go. A Ranger is my next on my list. They are very nice.

I would go with Honda as my first choice. If that does not suit you try a Honda and lastly I would go with Honda.

I love my Polaris it's like a Cadillac, smooth ride but handles like a retarted mule. The hondas with the electric power steering are amazing, they are comfortable and don't beat your arms up after a hard day of riding. It's my next buy.

I've got a 2006 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 V-twin 4x4. Excelent power. Goes anywhere. Good trail ride. Does have drive belt issue. That is the only problem so far. Rode a Yamaha Grizzly 700 on a trail last spring and it performed very well. The power steering was a big plus. Test ride all the different ones and choose the one that feels the best to you. Go new only. You never know if a used one has been abused and not well maintained. Good Luck!!

IMO Honda is the top. I had a rancher and never one time did I have a problem with it. Lost my lease and sold it to a guy at work and there still has not been any problems with the unit.
Test ride em all and go back to the Honda and ride it again for a comparison.
Happy 4 wheelin !
