I'm looking for new waders and was wanting some recommendations. I'm 6'2" and 225lbs. Most of the waders I have bought in the past have not fit right. The extra padding for the knees is always too low and they are not very flexable. I had a pair of neoprene waders that were more flexable but leaked around the seams. I sometimes hunt out of a pirogue so being able to manuver is important. What works for you?

I'm your height and weight and am using Cabela's Waterfowler 1200Ti. They work well for me. I walk in to my spot and haven't had issues with mobility. They kept me warm last Sunday in 20-degree weather standing in knee deep water.
YMMV

How long did you have them when they started leaking at the seams? Maybe you should have taken those back.

I've got a buddy who's about that size that swears by hodgman breatheables from academy. Cheap and simple. Layer up underneath and you'll be good to go.

I think my neoprene were Browning?. I can't remember. They made it about one season and started leaking at the seams. I have a pair of bone dry canvas now and they work good but are very restrictive for moving around. I don't know how long neoprenes last, one season, two or more?. I know it depends on how much you use them and what you walk through. I don't walk through thick brush or briars and hunt about once or twice a week during the season.

If you got waders and they leak at the seam, and you had them less than 2 years and they still look good, I would take them back and say they are defective. That is what I would do and I have seen posts on here where many have done that. As for me, by time mine start leaking from the seam I got a ton a patches on them from all the holes I poked in them.
But I always buy Hodgman myself at Academy, and they will go on sale here in about 2 weeks for 50% off like they do every year...

I'm 6'3", 230lbs I have a pair of Cabelas Brush Buster waders that I have had going on 6 or 7 years now.
They work for me just fine.
