Look on eBay for varmint hunting DVDs. They can show you the correct way to use it. You can find them for under $10.

Watch all the videos you can get your hands on, different guy's use different techniques so you can learn a lot. Also look for videos that might have been filmed in texas if that is where you are hunting. byron south is great, and he has videos filmed in texas. that way you see guys hunting similar terrain to what you might encounter.....

Get some Randy Anderson videos. Start out soft, and remember that the animal in distress has small lungs. So blow in short periods. Give a few minutes between sessions. Always be on the lookout and watch down wind. The best advice is get in the field and practice.

Varmint Al and You Tube both have some great instructions available.

Big Country is exactly right. You really dont want a light over 1 million candle power or you may have issues "burning the". Meaning shinning the light right in their eyes and scaring them off. Its hard when you got yotes running in hard but you need to pick one yote and keep the light on him the entire time. Dont put the light directly in his eyes if possible. Try to "hallow" or keep the direct light just above his head and still make them eyes glow!
