BUCK of course   I took a break from the ducks and got to hunt my buddys ranch in S. TX. It was great and I was surprised to see some mallards down there and a few mottled ducks. I wanted to set out some dekes but this guy played hard to get for a few days. I can't wait to go back next year.

Nice..Pretty good G2's too.I have not even put one down on the ground yet..8's and 9's are getting old..and does for meat- so I have to see a 10 or better..but that a nice -real nice 8..not sure I could have let him walk !

Thanks yall. You should see some of the deer on this place, they are amazing. The hunt wasn't hoping to see a deer to shoot, it was trying to get the one they wanted me to take. The first night we literally had a dozen bucks in front of us. This guy was about 6 years old and is possibly one of the best culls off the place. One thing that I really like about deer hunting in south TX is you don't have to get up until 5:30 lol, that's sleeping in for a duck hunter!
