Is there anything in particular wrong with the Browning B2000? They don't seem to have much resale value or maybe I'm just not looking at the right ones? Any help?

LIB, There is nothing wrong with the Browning 2000.The 2000 is faster loading and shooting than any other semi. auto made, the main problem and the reason most people have trouble with them is you must keep them cleaned and oiled. The gas operating system will not fuction right in bad or cold weather if it is not cleaned and oiled before hunting in bad weather. The gun sold in the 70's for a little less than even the Rem. 1100's sold for. There never was that many 2000's sold because of the cleaning problems with the gas operating systems. You might say it was not that user friendly. I've hunted with one for years and still prefer it over my Benelli SBE 11 that cost apx. 6 times more.

Tkx Men. I bought this NIB at the Dallas gun show in the early 80's. Thought it might be a good one for my wife and it had what I thought was real pretty wood. I have shot it very little and with no problems. Another thing I thought was cool is you can load it from the bottom or side. It is a skeet barrel with vented rib and it doesn't have a kit. Out of town for a couple days. Will stick it up here with some pic's and see if anyone has a trade.
