From the Brownwood Bulletin-
Trophy deer taken near Thrifty- Hebert Todd took this 27-point buck Monday at his place near Thrifty. The buck scored a whopping 210 6/8 inches with a 19 1/6-inch inside spread. They estimate the buck to be between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 years old.

From the Brownwood Bulletin-
.....They estimate the buck to be between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 years old. I always laugh when I hear someone say this....."between 3.5 and 4.5"?? Are you serious?? A deer is either 3.5 or 4.5.....he can't be 4 years old during hunting season. ALL deer are "something"-and-a-half years old during hunting season. I can't tell you how many guys I've heard say, "well that's a purdy nice buck ya shot there Billy Bob.....he's probably 4.....but he might be 4.5." HAHA LMAO.....sorry that's just one of my pet peeves.....
