I just got back today from Realitos. Looks like they are getting close. Bucks were following and checking on does, but know real chasing. My guess is by next weekend its should be going full swing.

i went to freer in duval county last thursday and 3 weeks ago on a wednesday for morning hunts. Saw nothing at all. the ranch is 100 acres. Got in the blind at 6:45am still dark, stayed till 11am. Checked the cameras and saw doe passing through during days, but no bucks at all. And lots of pigs. Hoping to make it out this weekend.

I was in Jim Wells Co. last weekend and the bucks were not interested in the does at all. Some of the younger bucks were fighting but more like playing. Still about a week away.

Just got back from 3 days in Duval and the young bucks are starting to move but the does aren't ready so it should turn on pretty soon.
