These are taken on my 10 acres that I leased out. They see 5 deer every time they hunt at each feeder plus they get to hunt the neighbors place too. The places around me are not hunted and there are three major crossings on the place. You can have good deer hunting on small places if they lay out well.

And AGAIN why aren't you hunting it???

And are you sure that top pic is not out of a Texas Fish and Game Magazine (TPW) from the 60's???

no I don't but that doesn't mean I don't believe him or don't think it's possible.... I had a buddy who had 10 ac and every year he took at least 2 deer off it.

I'm just saying if fishinbob has a great 10 ac why doesn't he hunt it?

You have one heck of a memory if that is correct!

I absolutely believe you can hunt 10 acres successfully, if it's the right ten acres. I mostly hunt two pieces of property. One is 600 acres, the other is 13,000 acres. However, the actual "spots" I hunt are less than 10 acres and many are near fencelines.

The 600 acres is where I spend the most time (close to home) and I've found that it's pretty amazing the different deer you see at different spots. Rarely do I see the same buck on cam at more than 1-2 feeders.

Some good deer in those pictures, though were the 1st two not taken by game cameras? Three game cameras on 10 acres seems like a bit much.

Before anyone rips this guy too bad, do remember that not long ago game cameras were 35mm, not digital. Those first two pictures both look like they are pictures of pictures. I know this, because I have a few that I had to do that way to put them on the web.

Picture removed.
clowns creep me out.

The first pic was on the original Moultree 4.0 game cam I bought 3 years ago. The rest were new cameras. I cropped out the dates and stuff because I am thinking about making a Calerdar for Aanderson area.I got lots of cool pics from there. I hunt on Dad's Ranch in Trinity and I have 2 ranches in Menard so I leased the place out.No Time.

My father-n-law has 7 acres behind his house on the Denton/Wise county line. I've had a camera set up where he hand throws corn since October and we've got 9 bucks and no telling how many does that stop by every night. Very few day pics this time of year but, I can't believe the number of deer that come to the corn. There is a nice 10 that is typical on his left side and his right side look like a Mule Deer with a forked G2&3. Looks like he may be 4 1/2 and score around 140 or so. Gonna try to get him during the holidays.

The issue was never that you can't have deer crossing through or routinely showing up on small tracts of land. No one ever argued that. I have 10 deer at a time at the feeder at our place less than 10 miles from where this is.

It was more about trying to sell/lease at an inflated price based on the claim of "3-4 140-class deer at once under my feeder" in a County where a 140 might make the top-5 under non-HF.

And none of those are 140-class deer. That "140-class double drop-tine" is a 120 buck with 2 tiny kickers, and the pic looks like it was taken in the 70s.

Not to even mention that this guy has put up threads soliciting people to send him pictures of their deer. How does anyone know these are even on his land?

It's just all very shady to me. I'll leave the subject alone, but buyer beware on this one. He's asking twice the going rate for completely unimproved land in a county known for very small bucks that are heavily overhunted.

No thanks.

Looks like Bob has 10 acres for sale in the "land and Leases" section. It is in Anderson county. It also has a double drop tine buck roaming around. Huh!!

Cameron - fishnbob does have a very fishy story here when you go back and look at his prior posts and ever changing descriptions of the land he has for sale.????????????

Be careful with this one.

We own 19 acres and have shot several nice deer. 137/125/115/112

Just takes patience, more time in stand, good food and or bedding, and not too much pressure in off season
