They should only be "wrangled" inside high fence only. Any hog breathing is also rooting causing damage and competing/dominating with the deer and other wildlife for food. Any caught free range should be shot on sight. Wrangling and letting loose later is bad and happens more than most know.
Eat what you can and leave the rest for the buzzards.
