Well, since I got lucky and stopped off in Odessa first, I will give you the first report from our hunt.......
Very successful.....This was a doe management hunt and we did great.....
Crazy horse and camp cook got their 4 doe
Saginaw and his wife Pam got 3 of their 4....
Swagger fan and his dad killed a nice cull and 3 doe.....
Swagger went down early for his cull hunt.....
I connected first thing Sat. morning on my 2 doe and then filmed 7mag's hunt on his doe that he wanted to take...
All in all.......great hunt, nice accomodations.....and for the price you couldn't ask for a better time......
I filmed some great bucks and there were deer everywhere....
14 total deer were taken between Fri. evening and Sun morning..............
Saginaw, when you get home and read this, I beat you to the computer..............
Pam did the skinning of the deer and told Ken to back off...
He tried to help her but was just getting in the way......

LOL, sounds like a good time was had by all. All that good doe meat too, whens the cook out? You should have a bunch of it ground, I have a couple of great recipies for ground deer. Ones a meatloaf the other is a soup/stew. Let me know and I'll email them out.

Hunting is more to me than Antlers on the wall. It's more about the memories you make, and sharing those memories with friends, and family.

ok from left to right.................KWR(kent), CHC(Randall) in front of Randall Campcook(lora), next is Swaggerfan(Nathan), Nathans dad Joe(the coolest dad in the world Loves to hunt with his son),Saginawhunter(ken), Miss Saginawhunter(pam) yours truly 7mag, was behind the camera. A film of a "ping pong deer" will be shown at a later time Great time and everyone scored. The buck in front is Nathans Cull. Backstrap heaven for sure in this pic. It was great, good friends, excellent hunt and a terrific ranch. For those of you on the second hunt, this is what you have to look forward too

Or better yet.........Saginaw's $3500 mistake by shooting a 170 class deer..........or so Miss Sag thought.......
I took Ken out to get his 2nd doe this morning and we decided to play a little trick.......Told Pam that he screwed up and shot a huge buck.....even showed her video of the kill shot, but since I nearly fell off the 4 wheeler she couldn't see exactly what he shot...........
Should have seen the look on her face....

The only taters we had were fried, like homemade french fries.......but a thousnad times better. Randall once again made those world famous Steaks, God those steaks are good. Lora mad a strawberry desert, that was to die for, along with ice cream. We defnately lost no weight on this hunt. Huge batches of Bacon, sausage and eggs, cooked up by Kent,Pam and me. Great people, great food and a very memorable time

Lora and I both had a great time this weekend. It is a great place to hunt and just drive around on, Trent and Jamie and their som Jimmy are really great folks to be around.

As for the group that we hunted with, with a couple of possible additions, I could not think of a better group of people to be around or share a camp with.

This was my fourth experience on a high fence place, my first with whitetails on a high fence place, and all I can say is that if nothing major happens and Trent does these hunts next year, Lora and I will be back.

I am not going to say a whole lot, because I am gonna let Lora relate our Sat. morning hunt.

Not me, but Lora B. I seriously doubt that I will ever go out with the express purpose of killing a buck whitetail the rest of my life. If I want something with horns that I am going to pay for, it will be moose or caribou or mule deer or pronghorn or an exotic, but not a whitetail.
