+1. That drop tine deer was definitely killed in DC. I've heard two different locations, but both in the same general area.

If anyone has a picture of that 190" 12pt, I'd like to see it. The whole thing about worrying about poachers seems kind of weird. If the deer were still alive, it'd be one thing, but poachers aren't typically much of a threat to dead animals. As far as I know, there aren't many, if any, high fence ranches in DC, so pretty much any and all deer are free to run whereever. I can appreciate not broadcasting about seeing a monster buck running around though, but if you've already shot it, what's the problem?

Picture removed.

doesnt look like a dc buck, they tend to throw more mass on them than that. i dont know where it came from, i darn sure wouldnt have passed it up. i have a different pic of the buck, it looks like it may be at the locker, it has a big tag on its left main beam.

The Peden rd. deer does not have a droptine, the pics are on page 2 of the deer that was killed in tarrant. The drop tine deer was taken in Denton by the adams kid...

The droptine deer was killed in DC. I'm not gonna argue with you. The other big typical was taken in Tarrant County and is usually the pic you will see of it is in the back of a flatbed truck. This thread is about a 3rd deer.

Gotcha I got my deer mixed up. The pic of the deer laying in the flat bed is from Tarrant County.

Are we sure there is a 3rd deer? The pic I received on my phone saying Denton County is indeed the Tarrant county deer (if it was really killed in Tarrant Co.). It is a different pic than is on here. He is laying on the floor in a building.

Strange. Has anybody seen a picture that wasn't the Adam's buck or the Tarrant county deer?

I wonder if this mystery buck is the one that was hit by my bother-in-law on 455 with his isuzu trooper. He said it was the biggest buck he had ever seen (we have 200"+ deer on our family ranch) The state trooper wouldn't let him take the buck and he didn't have time to wait for the GW to get there. Less than two hours later the buck was gone from the side of the road, GW never showed up...
