Started out with spoonie in the dekes at lst. Then we had two come in I dropped one and my buddy dropped the other. Turned out to be my first canvasback, a drake. The other was a goldeneye hen, weird that they were flying together.  We hunted in the rain until noon and we almost got two limits. Lots of stubborn, decoy shy birds today. Ended up with two pintail hens, can drake, drake widgeon, hen spoonie, bluebill, drake redhead, and four goldeneye. Not a bad day but we worked for the birds. Rust colored widgeon  The take

The thread was a joke. There were 3 guys and they knew they were scaup.. the only real question is...
are they all blue bills? or are there some broadbills too?

let the "crawfishin'" begin! You said we almost got two limits. now a third showed when you found out what your Goldeneyes really were????? The reason you get jumped on here and any other forum is obvious, you make duck hunters look like bafoons to non-hunters who happen across these forums!

Hey man we had a high school buddy come out after his short class day and he shot one of the bluebills because he was only out there for the last hour or so. I don't break laws when I hunt.
