Only had 1 morning to pheasant hunt with my daughter. (Damn job gets in the way of my hunting/hobbies). Tim Ballinger (aka shorthair) turned us onto some birds. Tim always does a professional job and has a great personality. I've hunted with many guides in the past and he's one of the best. Tim hunts around Dumas. Pheasant season runs til Jan 3rd I believe.

Four of us are headed up to hunt with Tim next Friday and Saturday. Save a few birds for us!

We left plenty. There were 3 in our group and we were able to limit out both days! Will get pics up maybe tomorrow. Oh yeah, knocked a few coyotes out while we were there also.

Four of us are hunting with Tim tomorrow. Three first timers (me included), so hopefully we see some birds and can keep our wits about us enough to get a few.

Hunted with Tim Ballinger yesterday and almost hit our limit. We were pretty fired up as almost all of us are total rookies. Tim knows where the birds are. If we just hit those dang things better, we would have been done by lunch. Great time regardless. Thanks Tim.

Man, it was cold up there that weekend.

We hunted the 19th and 20th. Best bird hunting I have ever experienced. We got about 30 in two days and I can't wait to go back next year. Tim's got the birds and is a pleasure to hunt with. Showed us Austin boys what real hunting is all about, none of that high roller, pampered BS, just hard legit hunting, only way to do it. Thanks Tim, we will be back every year until you hang up your guide hat. Ryan

There is no doubt that hunting the Dumas area is hard core hunting. It's a real pleasure hunting with Tim because he works harder than you do. The birds are tough as nails and you earn each and every one you take. I saw several birds get hit hard and never flinch as they kept flying. This was my first pheasant hunt and I am totally hooked. Can't wait until the next opportunity. Thanks Tim!

You guys are to kind!! Got three days of rest over x-mas, so did Bree and Lutz. Took 7 hunters out today and we were so close to limit by lunch. Took 17 birds total and fell short of limit. Took 3 23" tail feathers!! Mounting them. All are first time pheasant hunters. Thank you again for all the great comments, each of you should be so proud of yourselves.
