This guy is taking money for a lease he dont have. He took my money and 2 others on craigslist. we are all trying to get him. his phone has been turned off and e-mail dont work either. He lives in Denison Tx. if anyone know him please let me know or if he got your money let me know. Thanks

no not sure who bob is but this guy garry springs has scamned 8 people that I know of so far. He is leasing land for hunting and also saleing fencing to farmers and land owners and no show on fenceing. Real peace of crap guy.

Report him to the DA for wire fraud and grand theft. If you paid by check, get a copy of it from your bank, if by money order, use the stub to track it and get a copy of it. Its very important that you file a complaint with the DA though.

Call the GW and Sheriffs ofice. I had a very simular thing happen in coke co. yrs ago. The guy got caught in tarrant and did some time.

I think that's crap.
But posting the guys info is crap too; we don't know what he did or didn't do....

Sorry, we got burned by someone who thought they were helping one time, they had the wrong people, and it cost us big bucks to fix it.

Make sure of your sources before piling on someone...

I don't know the guy and if he did what they say he's a thief, but there's better ways to handle it.

How did this happen? Will you explain how he got your money? Did he show you the land? Did you meet him face to face?

Police dept. will not do anything about it. I cant even get a call back from Sherman PD or the Federal Trade commision. I sent him money through money gram and 6 others sent it through money gram also, and 1 guy met him face to face and gave him half cash and half check. He even got a signed lease. There is more people from what im told but I only have proof of 8 of us at this time. One person I talked to said he took money from a old lady living alone. The day the Sherman PD let him out of jail was the same day he put the ad on CL and started taking money. I have a differnt address then the one you gave me but I will send certified letter and see what happens. The law will do nothing about this and thats just crap when we all have e-mails and paper trail through money gram to prove he did this. They call it a civil matter. I call it fraud and in my book you should go to jail. Thanks for all the help and info. He will go down.

Have you called the game warden for Grayson County? Or the District Attorney? I'd start there if I wasn't happy with other agencies. If its important to Joe Brwon, it will be more important to the SO and PD there...

This kinda stuff is unreal...It always amazes me the nerve of people to be able to pull something like this. It's crazy, and whats more crazy, is that if this guy does get locked up, it probably wont stop him from doing something like this again
