They are taking over the Bar X subdivision in West Columbia, TX. I live in Pearland right outside the Beltway and had a cop tell me this same thing a month or so ago. Said there are also some pretty solid deer out there.

We don't have them in western Mills county. At least not on our places. They have been in other parts of the county for years. Mostly in heavy cedar populated area's. It's not from lack of water because we have lots of small to large ponds, creeks, and the Colorado river. We sure can't say that about our lease in Mills County, South of Goldthwaite!!! We are sure covered up in them!!

I used to work on a ranch in Medina (just outside Bandera) when I was in high school that a friend of the family owns. His place is a little over 7,000 acres and they have a serious hog infestation. I would say they shoot at least 1,000 hogs a year off the place and never decrease the population. You could sometimes see several hundred in a day.

just drive about an hour outside the metroplex in dallas. and you'll find them every where. doesnt matter which direction you go, just drive for an hour and look. lol!
