Just picked up a place in Fayette Co. and looking for some info on what to expect.

Hey Jacobo~.... i'm in Fayette Co..... were in the corner of lee, bastrop and fayette... but in fayette~.. .

were i'm at, you looking at about 15 deer per sq mile~.... yeah .. .not very good~

aww ok... i'm in wincheter.. not sure where your at... there's another kat on here that hunts fayette.... he's just over the tracks...

edit.... aww your pretty far from me!... .. im' really closer to Lee..right at the tip... you see any deer that way?.. i have 2 cams and not seeing anything... i did see one spike .. but nothing~... coons....grrr

I saw 2 does scouting the place out last weekend. I put a camera up @ my feeder. I'll check it this weekend and let you know. I'm about 5-10 miles as the crow flys nw of lake fayettville.

i forgot another person i know in fayette, but he is on the fayett lavaca co border just south of flatonia, ive been all over his place and have only seen a few deer.

yeah let me know... during the off season on my passive feeder at the front of the ranch, I've seen several.. nice big 8.. 6... does....but trying to get them to the back of 70 acres where i hunt.. . this yr I've only see one my feeder... a spike.... but i haven't been out there in 2 weeks, being that I've been sick.. I'll be out this weekend to see what i can see...

Don't expect to see a whole lot of deer out there. There are some, but not a lot. A 120 class buck in Fayette county is like a 170 class buck in South Texas or Hill Country.
