I don't know how bad, or if you get any blood on your clothing. A few years ago I was talking to an ER nurse. On this night, one of the rooms had some major blood splatter. I asked if they just used bleach or something like to clean it. She told me the best thing was Peroxide, as it breaks blood down, and also disinfects. I asked about clothing. Now don't go out and do this on your Sunday attire. I was soaked in blood, from this past weekends hunts. Some of it was dry blood, and had set. I put Peroxide in a spray bottle and pre sprayed the pants. I washed them in cold, and I was impressed. Most if not all the stains came out. These were old jeans, so if the Peroxide did stain, no big deal. Just thought I would pass it on, hope it works for some of you. Any other ideas on how to take blood stains out, let us know.

those tide to go stain remover pens really work. I have taken coffee, blood and ink stains from my fire dept. blues (shirts)using this product. I tried the clorox bleach pens too but they leave a stain where you applied it.

Your right 7mag, peroxide does work on getting blood out. I am an athletic trainer for a high school and that is what I use our peroixde for. Works great on uniforms that have blood on them. Be careful of white t-shirts sometimes the blood will leave just a hint of brown.

I use "Simple Green" on all my stains. You can get it at any hardware store or automotive place. Just spray it on and stains are gone. Stuff is great.
