Yes snow, at least in West Texas, got up this morning and the ground was covered. Put on about 5 layers of clothes and headed to the rifle blind, wussed out on the bow stand, go figure. Had several doe's in front of us before shooting light and then noticed they started to get a little nerve and looking down a fence line, I was needing a doe for some meat so I started trying to get a good shot on one, but unable to and they headed off down the fence line. Well I made the mistake not paying more attention down the fence line, there stood big boy, got to see him for just a few seconds, before he started chasing the doe's into the thickits.

O' well came in to warm up some and have some hot coffee and then head back out. It was great hunting in something different for a change.

Jumped a couple during the day, the evening the ususal, did have the turkeys come through, took 2 of them. Going to REAL cold in the morning, maybe big boy will want in the blind where it is warm.
