Where I hunt in Robertson the rut is youth weekend. The weekend right before opening day. I have seen one buck kinda messing with a doe a couple days ago, but you might be to late

WE still had bucks pushing does this past weekend in Burleson Co. Near Lake Somerville. Had a spike and nice 6pt come in head down, neck swollen chasing does...

Cameron- this little cold snap along with the overcast/drizzling,foggy days have really kicked in the movement. Our place slowed way down and then kicked back up dramatically..so good luck to ya this weekend!

I'll post a report Sunday evening. Tons of deer where I hunt, but not many of them are legal. We'll see what comes out.
