how far do yall shoot ur 243s? do you feel comfortable taking 150+ yd shots with them?

you should be very comfortable out to 200 at least.

I have made shots out to 300 yards on coyotes with the .243 and they all dropped in their tracks. Best all around gun for this state, IMHO.

Up to 300 yards if you can hit exactly what your aiming at ! I shot a 8 point this year in the neck and the bullet didn't exit his thick rutting neck, at 95 yards. But he didn't go anywhere either, DRT !

348yds on a wounded axis deer last year !Shot him through the shoulders 100 grain bullet went thru both shoulders and was just under the skin.Axis weighed 280.

.243 is a phenomenal round and is one of the most versatile rounds to apply to almost any shooting discipline. A 250 yard PBR zero is common for it if that helps.

how far do yall shoot ur 243s? do you feel comfortable taking 150+ yd shots with them? comfortable has nothing to do with the cal. has more to do with the shooter.. Your going to get a lot of ranges on here. from 200 max to probley some over 300. If you wouldn't do it with a big cal i wouldn't do it with a small. 300 is tops for me with my 243
