I hunt near Marquez in NW Leon county. The deer were moving at odd times this last weekend. I got my two doe as well as my buddy. I took number one @ 4:30 on Thanksgiving day from about 25yrds with my rifle. The next morning was doe #2. I got her @ 7:00am. My buddy got his does the last 2 days. Both of them were morning does.
The does were starting to come to the feeders some. Most of the acorns are gone. I didn't see any bucks or spikes all weekend. The trees were just starting to lose their leaves. I was able to stalk some good areas with my bow for a change.
Any other reports from the Limestone, Freestone, or Leon?

i hunt in Centerville at my grandfathers ranch. i saw maybe 10 deer total from Thursday evening to Saturday evening. i managed to get 1 doe Friday morning, had opportunities on a few others but didn't take em, one button buck was shot by someone else Thursday night. i think i was a total of 2 button bucks, not counting the one killed and the rest were does, no bucks or spike at all, as did no one else see any bucks. we did have a few of those does start coming to the feeders, but not a whole lot, saw most of the deer grazing in a rye patch.
