Anybody got any stories of hogs charging?
I'll start off by saying on opening weekend I got face-to-face with a hog after I had just shot one that was with it right at dusk. We had a stare down for a moment and then it took off, running in and out of the brush, as I was unholstering my sig 229. I nearly hopped into the feeder pin because I thought he was gonna come my way be he decided to run the opposite direction

Only seen it once when a wet sow was shot but not dropped! Do NOT go after a wounded pig when piglets are buzzing around all over the place! At least give it some time before you do anyway.

A buddy of mine who hunts with dogs with a few guys is the only one out of about 5 that has not been cut. They will charge but I have never had it happen to me.
