I have watched a few coveys of quail and finally got my brittany healed up enough to get out this morning, and found nary a single bird. I saw that the gate to the lease has been changed up and I saw empty shell casings on the ground. I'm afraid that someone has come in and shot up my coveys that I have been watching. Severly disappointing.

Be kind with your words, thankful to your Creator and generous with the meat from your hunt.

No one can shoot all the birds. Look again!

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill
