Not trying to hijack this thread, but have a question since the topic is on radios.
Not sure about doing alot of listening to others, but we need some on our lease because there is no cell service and we need to be able to communicate.

I have tried Cobra(2 sets) and they are JUNK.

I want something that will work on about 500 acres with mesquite and oak and no real hills or other obstructions.

What brand(s) and model(s) do you recommend?

Thanks for your help.
