My wife, who works in an OR, called me to tell me about a case they had come in a bit ago. This man hits a deer and stopped to move it out of the road. He was waiting for a car to go around but the car hit the deers head causing an antler to fly up and pierce his stomach. They had to go in and take out the antler, about 7 inches, and fix a few things. Wouldn't that be horrible, especially the day before season opens.

That is some bad luck. My hunting buddy just told me of a boy he knew has a kid who was killed when he went to go check his buck he shot, the buck jumped up and gored him right in the heart. Always touch their eye with a stick or gun before approaching.
