I have got to get my 15 year old in there. Been slow doing it though as I know he's going to want to hunt by himself some and I actually like having him in the blind with me frown

The test is easy fo sheezy, don't sweat it. Only thing that got me was the questions about muzzle loaders, I thought "nipples" were those things on my chest that I hang gold dollar bill symbols on.

That's probably more true for those who take the online course and then the one-day follow-up classroom course. The exam that's given in the classroom portion includes material covered only in the online course. Without anyone to take notice, I've seen people who blow off the online material, only to see questions they don't know on the classroom exam.

I took mine a coule of years ago. Any adult can pass it with common sense alone. There are some luzzle loader and bow questions but there are not a lot of them. You may learn a few things if you pay attention in the class.

I have to disagree with those that keep saying it is easy. I am 39 and I took it a few months ago and after skimming through the online material I barely passed the exam. I consider myself a pretty smart guy and I grew up hunting but some of the questions were just plain stupid for a safety class.
The size of black powder used in priming a flintlock (priming pan powder) is: FFg, FFFg, FFFFg or none of the above
An accessory that can be used when removing an improperly loaded charge from a muzzleloader is:
patch box
barrel key
frizzen
CO2 ball discharger
Which of the following is NOT one of the "4 C's" of hunting ethics:
capable
courteous
conscious
considerate
All hunter education certificates are accepted in other states and provinces:
true
false
While some of the questions are EASY there are quit a few like these and if you haven't studied any of the material it isn't stuff you just know from experience.
