THe feds showed up and asked for consent to look in his freezer. He gave consent. In spite of what people think a game warden has no more authority than any other lawman. They are under the same restrictions of the constitution as everyone else. If a fed comes to my door and says he wants to search then I will choose right then and there if I want to grant him that right or not grant him that right. He can bark at me all he wants to, it won't change a thing. I no more give a load of horse dung if he is a fed or Adam's house cat. My constitutional rights WILL NOT be violated.

You boys need to get the truth, not this load of dung. No one ever took pics of an owl on the hood, the owl was in the grill of an F250. No one posted anything about a "bonus bird", why do you insist on fairy tales???
And yes, the Feds came knocking, how did they find out about an owl in the grill,,, do you really think they are that dumb??? Do you really think investigators do not surf the internet. Well tell us what did happen. As I remember the story, he posted a picture of the dead owl, and joked around in some shape or form about killing it. Is that not right? Didn’t he lay it down next to his dead ducks, as if it was part of his bag?

Duck season just started though, lots of time left.

He posted it originally on the bow of his boat with some other birds. Then alluded to the fact that he killed it. It was actually hit by his truck in OK. A day or so later he posted the pic of it in his grill. Problem was it was too late. People already were under the impression he killed it. He now has a hardon for all Fed law enforcement. I would guess he didn't get a ticket for having an owl but for stupidity and wasting peoples time. He deserved it, but likes to make out like it was the jack-booted thugs that blew things way out of proportion. What do you expect when you waste peoples time? Got to pay the price for it.

Nothing wrong with what the orignal poster taking a pic of the dead owl. Big difference between what he did and what the other guy did.
