Thanks for that. Its kinda odd. In ten day I have got the same 3 bucks coming to the feeder. No doe. One pig. They all come at night and only at night. I only have one daytime pic and it is of the pig but the rest of the time he is there at night as well.

I've got nothing but time. I wont be able to go back until December between my work schedule and my wifes Holiday plans!!!! I figure the batteries in my camera will be dead by then and I will completly miss the rut.

Yep. Its the 89 dollar rig from Bass Pro. 4 megapixel bla bla bla. The daytime pictures are excelent. I guess you get what you pay for. I actually bought it second hand off of craigslist for $50. It was still in the package. Thought I was getting a heck of a deal.

I think hes a younger buck IMO. 3 1/2, but he is a nice one. Some leases would let him walk and some wouldnt. I have a feeling you want to pull the trigger. Good Luck!

Letting him walk or not depends on if I can get a cull first. I do believe where I am hunting the pressure is not that high and he will probably be around another couple of years. Im going to put meat in the freezer though. If it has to be him I will eat him with a smile.

Nothing wrong with that!

Your days in the field are a premium and with little hunting pressure where you hunt, it would not hurt one bit to harvest that buck.

Good luck!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

I forget now but it has the number "4" in the name. I'll see if I can find the paperwork.

To me it doesn't matter what kind of game camera you have, we have what we have to work with. He appears to have a kicker on the right side in one photo, not considering that he looks like a 10 with good tine length and symmetry. I can't tell much about mass. In east Texas I would take him, if you get the opportunity in legal shooting light which may be a challenge. Forget that right side kicker, I believe that is background brush however I am almost certain he has G4s on both sides.
Good luck, keep us posted.
Ray

I agree, 9 but I am pretty sure 10pt. As for age, 3.5 only cause he doesn't seem to have much belly. That's a hard one.

If there is not a lot of pressure in your area, let him walk. i'm thinking 3 1/2 with potential. with another year of growth, you could see 10 or so inches of growth.

Tough one. This deer has not even been on food plots, corn, or anything other than mother nature to my knowledge. I just joined this lease in August of this year. I believe I have an experiment. I'm going to see how much I can make him grow by next season with some good land management. Provided I dont see him while I'm hungry this season!!!

And maybe I should invest in a better camera.
