On the way out to my field this morning saw a doe cross the road in front of me with a big 8 point about 10-15 yards behind. He never even looked at the jeep, he was on a mission. I was on a public road and he went into a neighbors land so I was not about to shoot, but he sure was a shooter. Unfortunatly when I got to my field a herd of elephants could have been hiding out there the way the fog had set in. frown
It stayed put until 9:00 before finally lifting so I did not see much, but my father saw a spike chasing a doe so they are kicking off around here.

That is good to hear. I will be at my lease in Cherokee Co. by 10:00pm and ready for Big Boy in the morning.
