Funny, I think this topic comes up once a year. We have (are having) an issue with this on my place. There is a stretch of about a mile of fence. On this stretch these guys have 19 stands and 14 feeders. Gramps is not happy and the 2 of us have spoken with the guys. There reply, "Nothing you can do about it." Being the nice guy Gramps is since he lives out there, every morning he rides the 4 wheeler up and down the fence. They finally got pissed and asked him to stop or they were going to call the GW for hunter harrasment. All in all this has been going on for about 5 years now. Gramps said last month we are high fencing that back 400 acres. My face dropped and said ha yes, that will piss them off. Not much you can do. If your neighbors are nice and have some sort of sense they would realize if they were there 2nd they need to move. All you can do is ask.

Just an interesting observation on this subject.... When we have properties for sale, every once in awhile there will be a blind or feeder on the fenceline next to the property we have listed. I never make a big deal about it. I just make sure to drive by the area in a direction where they can't miss it. That way they can make their own judgement without any influence from me. I can only recall one time a buyer just said "Oh well, it is what it is." 90% of the time, buyers will go on and on about how bad that is, poor manners, etc... It usually hurts the sale of a property in some way or another when this situation occurs. Several other agents I know have noticed the same thing. Like I said....just an observation.... It's really interesting that the majority of the opinions seem just the opposite whenever this comes up on the forum.

Welcome to deer hunting, everybody wants to ride the fence. We have 2 guys that do it across our fence, blind feeder both. It ticks me off but the best thing to do is get over it. Set your feeder stations towards the middle and run them hard. Now if I get out early and feel like driving the fence lines that is their problem.
