Larger bucks are now traveling in the middle of the day .
I have seen some really nice bucks in the 130 to 150 class
out at 4:30 in the open areas of my pasture . They are ready
but the does are not quite there yet . Next week should start
things off here in Wilbarger and Hardeman counties . Last year
things began to happen about the 18th in my area . Rattling should be productive now if you are in the area . Tried it last week but didn't bring anything nice in . Good Luck !!!!

I can't wait!!! I am headed out next week and it sounds like I will be hitting the early rut. Just what I was hoping for.
