OK I have been around looking for a hog hunt for awhile but have got a lot of responses out of my budget..
What im looking for is a reliable hog hunt for under $100 that includes cleaning and quartering the kill.
If anyone has a hunt please let me know, there will be two hunters.

i have looked as well but I do not think you are going to find one for under 100 if you expect them to clean and quarter it. thats part of the hunt to enjoy what you harvested.

I understand, the only thing is I dont know how to do that which is why I need it done, but I will keep looking.
I might just take the trip down to Fort Hood when everything down there settles down, I hear they have good hunting down there

I think it will be hard to find a good hog hunt for under $150 a day. Most charge $25 to skin,Qt.and ice each hog.

yeah thats why im posting here to see if there are any out there..
if not, no biggie just wont be doing any hunting anytime soon.
Maybe that pay raise by uncle sam lol (not holding my breath. .)

I must say im VERY dissapointed in what I have found since I have been back to Texas when it comes to hunting...
I have been looking around everywhere not only here but asking around and talking to people about a place to hunt.
I understand 100% that there is a cost to hunt; corn, feeders etc. but the prices that some charge and the unwillingness to want to introduce someone else and share this sport (I understand nobody is obligated to help anyone else) has me shocked!!! I was raised in TX and only left due to enlisting into the military and always remembered TX as a VERY friendly place filled with people that are willing to give a hand to someone.
I want to stress that I completely agree and understand that there is a cost involved with hunting.
I have been raised and taught to leave things better then you find it and am more then willing to pay to help the cost of a hunt or to help out the land owner if needed..
But for the past few months I have been looking for a decent hog hunt and have found nothing but people wanting to charge a arm and a leg to hunt a animal that has overrun the state and is a neucance to farmers and landowners.
Nobody owes me anything and I dont want to come off that way at all I have paid my way since I have become an adult and im in no way looking for a hand out. just someone or a group of guys that are willing to share their experience in hunting and teach someone interested in the sport.. I really would care less if I even shoot a hog for myself, just to learn would be enough for me..

if you want to learn how to hunt you might look into a better paying job you get what you pay for no matter where you go

I disagree. it doesnt take alot of $$$ to hunt neither does it take bribing a good person to allow you to accompany them to learn something that was taught to them..
And it does not have anything to do with my job or what it pays..
hunting is all about being in the right place at the right time, either by choice or by luck.. I dont think there is anyone that would disagree with that. the odds do change depending on where you hunt and if your ok with paying to hunt in a cage then good for you.. I personally think that hunting hogs is not a "trophy" hunt and should not cost so much to do..
but we all have opinions and we all have the right to voice them and thanks to my underpaying job Iam able to protect my ability to voice them..

i just went to the HC ranch, lodging, meals, cleaning, and icing of hogs with 2 nights lodging for 250.00, don't know if that is too high, but read my review under guides and outfitters sections. I just posted it, good luck

PM Sent. We have $95 hog hunts. Cleaning is just a nominal fee and you can watch and learn how we do it one time and probably do it yourself from then on. There are a lot of ranches out there but we have ton of hogs right now and will take care of you and your friends on a hunt with us for sure. Thanks again and take care!
