Will a buck breed with more than one doe and how long does it take for a buck to breed that doe after he starts to chase or should I say how long does the chase normally last??

Buck will breed with as many does as he is able to. Depending on buck to doe ratio, bucks will stay with a doe for a couple of days or they may not stay with them over a couple of minutes if another hotter one comes by. Bucks are opportunistic and will go after any doe that might be receptive and when bunches are receptive they will go until they get tired. Chase can last from days during the early rut to minutes during the intense rut.
