I need help trying to find a place to take my dad to do some hunting. He has been a hunter for years, and taught me everything I know about hunting since before I could walk. My dad had a stroke about 2 years ago and paralized the left side of his body so he has to get around with a cane and cant do the same things he could before. He hasnt been hunting since it happend and we were at a place with woods the other day and he just rolled down the window and said thats what he missed the most was smelling the woods. So I want to find a place to bring him to take a deer, Im not rich or this wouldnt be a problem, hopeing to find something affordable. I just want to find some were that he can get out and not be couped up in a house all day and spend some time with him and hopefully top it off by him getting a deer. He has brought me hunting and not hunted at all, just went to be there for me so now I want to return the favor. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check out the COA hunts coming up. Great group of people and they transport out to the blinds and all. Lots of help available. They do these hunts for the disabled free of charge. Here is a link to the post.

Good people on both ends, Clay and his dad, and the COA folks. Hope this works out.

I hope this doesnt sound too much like a sales pitch cause thats the last thing I am is a salesman. I am a service specialist for The Scooter Store dealing mainly with electric scooters and wheelchairs. Its not exactly an off road vehicle but my heart goes out to anyone who has trouble getting outside, and i am more than willing to do anything i can do to help. Just shoot me an email if you think your dad might be interested. Cypertj@yahoo.com

You can kill a fly with a sledgehammer. But do you really need to son?

Maybe if we got enough people together. We could sweep and flush to an area that is easier to access?

Hey man, your dad emailed me and I gave him my number, but he never called me. I want to help him out so remind him that I am still interested.
Thanks,

Well guys we had a great hunt, Tucker Conner is a first rate guy and boy is he covered up with deer. My dad and I got there about 2:30 and Tucker got my dad set up in a pop up ready to rock and roll by 3. We backed out of there and sat up on a hill so we could see what my dad saw and it wasnt long before the deer started coming in, about 2 hours later we saw a 8pt come in and about 10 min after that we heard a shot. My dad had droped his first buck in 4 year right were he stood, he was so excited to finally be back in the field seeing deer and to top it off by getting one. Id like to thank Tucker for being the good person he is and making it all possible. If anyone is considering going on a hunt in the future or looking for a tier 1 outfitter, I would give Tucker a call you wont regret it. So Tucker thanks again for helping my dad out and a early christmas for him, if more people were like you we would have alot less things to worry about in this world. Thank you for having us.
