Maybe but where I hunt if they smell you on the trail you walked in on the start snorting and run like the devil is after them. They'll pick you up in a tripod if you don't have it set back in the tree enough and if one has busted you before they will walk in and look right up at the stand to see if you are there and if you are they leave. Snorting and acting a fool.

cody, ur hunting exactly like i hunt everytime! only dif is that i usually willl wear a cover scent, and some dark/camo clothes for when im stalking. i can tell u tht it is a lot harder to sneak up to a deer wearing a white t shirt and "very sexy" cologne.

I think cammo has it's advantages, but I don't think it's a necessity like some folks do. Cover scents are handy bowhunting but rifle hunting I think they are silly.

depends, i rifle hunt, but i still like to sneak up within 35 yrds of my buck before i take it. i dont hunt out of a blind like the normal rifle hunter. and ive been winded plenty times while stalking even when wearing coverscent. i agree on the camo thing, any kinda dark clothing def helps if u will be half way exposing ur self. but for most people, its not necessary.

Hey, if you don't feel like you can hit a deer at over 35 yards you've got bigger problems than cover scent...lol
