Last year opening day, I remember like it was yesterday, anticipation running through my viens. Wake up sun starting to break and then it happened:::::: the guy that owns the place besides us decided opening weekend is a good day to start digging a tank. Grrrrrrrrrrrr Now this year just as the sun comes abreaking through he decides to start clearing his land of trees. Needless to say all game was GONE no-one saw or could here anything. What is up with some people 365 days out of a year and all I ask for is opening weekend and this jerk works land 2 years running. Hope all went better for everyone else though. There needs to be a law against making noise on opening weekend.

NRA member and proud of it.

Just go over and politely tell him that if he promises not to fire up the heavy equipment on opening weekend, you promise not to target practice at 2:00 am! rifle

He's doing it on purpose. He'll do it again next year if he knows you're there again too.

I agree those kind of guys are doing it on purpose. My neighbor did the same damn thing to me yesterday. Driving his fence line clearing brush with his chainsaw. Damn non-hunters. Theres ways to fix these people.

Man that sucks. I hate hearing human noises when Im out hunting.. Unfortunately the little place I hunt is near a road and there is a house within 500 yards of my feeder through a thick line of trees. Yesterday evening I think the people at the house decided to drag sheets of tin around in circles in thier yard.. idk what the hell they were doing.

You know the sound a trailer makes bouncing down the road with a load of loose metal roofing or tin?? It sounded like that except it never moved and went on for about 15min.. no idea what they were doing, but man was it annoying.

And then there's the guy that likes to go up and down the road on his ATV that doesn't have a muffler on it. Grrrr. Probably doesn't bother the deer, but again, it's annoying.

Sitting in my blind now, neighbor decided it would be a good time to sight in his rifle... that or he just slaughtered something for about 30 min straight.

Youve got to be kidding me grrr.
